The second day of the singles and doubles main draws started with a bang this morning with the 6-7, 6-7 match between Sebastien Boltz and Carl Soderlund. This intensity continued throughout the rest of the day with multiple matches coming down to the wire.

Alex Brown won his match 7-6, 7-6 against Jonathan Gray of England, advancing him to the second round of the singles main draw. Brown, of Waukee, Iowa, currently plays for the University of Illinois-Champaign. Brown will face Alfredo Perez tomorrow. Perez and Brown both qualified into the main draw as unseeded players.

Petros Chrysochos lit up the court today in a 6-4, 6-4 win over Alec Adamson. The 2017 NCAA Champion looks to continue his winning streak over Nick Chappell tomorrow in the second round.
